MICROSPERSE

MICROSPERSE series of products are high performance liquid products specifically formulated for control of scale formation and fouling in both Single and Multi Effect Evaporators. They are very effective in avoiding deposition of scale forming salts like calcium, sulphates, silica and carbonates.
MICROSPERSE is anaqueous blend of homo and co-polymeric dispersants and antifouling agents. It is compatible with all types of industrial water systems. MICROSPERSE is hydrolytically stable over a wide pH range and temperature.
The scale if any formed with the use of MICROSPERSE are amorphous and soft in nature due to the distortion of their crystal structure and can be easily removed The use of MICROSPERSE enablesthe system to extend the time duration between evaporator cleaning and substantially reduces the amount of chemicals and manpower and utilities required for such cleaning processes.

Dosages & Point of addition

The injection point should preferably be in the feed to MEE. The product should be dosed by making a 5- 10% solution. Additional details and recommendations are available on request.
The Required dosage level of MICROSPERSE depends on number of factors including the quality of the feed, effect temperatures and concentration factors. Typical dose levels will be in the range 30 to 50 mg/l in the beginning. Detailed dose level recommendations can be done by after stream analysis.

Major Benefits of Microperse

  • High performance scale inhibition for use in Multi Effect Evaporators.
  • Very effective for a wide range of calcium scales.
  • High sequestering for calcium sulfate and calcium carbonate scales.
  • Very effective even at lower dosages.
  • Non-toxic, eco-friendly product and safe to use in process.
  • Improved silica scale inhibition.
  • Longer time duration between downtime cleaning cycles.
  • Softer and easier to remove scale.
  • No effect on metal surface of the tubes.

Handeling & Storage

Keep the container away from direct heat & sunlight. Keep the container in cool & dry place and closed when not in use. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, liquid, mists or dried residues.
  • SKIN CONTACT: May cause irritation to skin; wash thoroughly with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists get medical aid
  • EYE CONTACT: Immediately flus eyes with water for 15 minutes .Flush with running water for at least fifteen minutes, Get medical attention at once.
  • INGESTION: Wash out mouth with water. Give plenty of water if the victim is conscious and do not induce vomiting. Get immediate medical aid
  • INHALATION: Remove from further exposure. Keep warm and at rest. If cough or other symptoms develop, seek medical attention immediately.

Packing

  • MICROSPERSE is supplied in 50 Kg / 220 Kg drum.

Advantage of Scale Inhibitor (Microperse)

  • Mircrospere is a powerful scale inhibitor with excellent scale dispersion and inhibition capacity inside the evaporator tubes. It provide efficient performance over a wide range of scale such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, Silica and other sodium salts.
  • MICROSPERSE series of products are high performance liquid products specifically formulated for control of scale formation and fouling in both Single and Multi Effect Evaporators.
  • MICROSPERSE is an aqueous blend of homo and co-polymeric dispersants and antifouling agents. It is compatible with all types of industrial water systems. MICROSPERSE is hydrolytically stable over a wide pH range and temperature.
  • The scale if any formed with the use of MICROSPERSE are amorphous and soft in nature due to the distortion of their crystal structure and can be easily removed The use of MICROSPERSE enables the system to extend the time duration between evaporator cleaning and substantially reduces the amount of chemicals and manpower and utilities required for such cleaning processes.
  • Due to Increase the time between cleaning cycle the MEE will run continuous and decrease the down time so decrease the production loss.
  • Due to Increase the time between cleaning cycle, Hydro jet cleaning frequency will decrease so accordingly increase the life of the evaporator.

FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

FLASH POINT & FLAMMABILITY: Non-flammable
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA Water, Dry chemical powder, foam, carbon dioxide or sand
FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT Self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes. All other people should evacuate.
PREVENTIVE MEDIA Spills can be extremely slippery.
SPECIAL HAZARDS Dried product can catch fire under extreme conditions. Carbon and nitrogen oxides may be released in case of fire.

ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS Do not let the product enter drains, groundwater, soil and any other waterways.
PERSONAL PROTECTION Use protective equipment and avoid unnecessary personnel in the area. Product forms slippery surface when spilled.
CLEAN UP METHODS 1) Use protective equipment and avoidunnecessary personnel in the area. Product forms slippery surface when spilled.
2) Contain spills immediately with inert dry materials like sand, earth etc. Sweep up the spilled material in separate waste containers and scrub to remove the residue. If slipperiness remains, apply more of dry sweeping compound. The spilled product should be treated with sand prior to disposal.
